An Evening of Soul Rock

Bryan Thomas and Mario Sevayega

Props to everyone in the house. Killing crowd. Attentive. Good vibes. Much love. Beautiful.

I kicked my set with the incomparable Matt Loiacono on the drums. Hair big like his beat. We played Liquefy. Closer. Tiresias. Sundays. Anymore. Perfect. Be. Six. Cycle.

Mario kicked his set with jazz master Ray Jung on bass, and Dan Dinsmore of The Clay People on drums. (Trivia: Dan and I went to the same high school - we used to jam together occasionally back in the day. He's always been a bad MF on the kit. More trivia: he's also mentioned in the song Six.)

Among the many in the house: Wetwerks, the Orange, Troy Pohl and Gavin Richard of Kamikaze Hearts, John Powhida of the Staziaks, the ubiquitous Steve Nover and guitar masters Tom Burre and George Muscatello. All good.
