Behind the scenes video from the set of 'Babylon'

Gonzo Cam

Windows Media | QuickTime

I had my camcorder with me on the final day of the shoot for the Babylon music video, so I turned it on and let it roll in those rare moments when I wasn't actually being filmed. Nothing too exciting here, but it does give you a general sense of what was going on in Tess' attic that day. Taken in NightShot mode to accommodate the low light in the room, which is why everyone has weird eyes and a green tint.

Crowd Audio Capture

Windows Media | QuickTime

In this clip, Bink and Hoby work their microphonic magic to capture the audio of the applause and cheers of the extras. The look on Mr. Matthew's face while he's clapping along to the beat cracks me up; also note his wise-cracking at the very end of the hoot-and-holler capture. This clip was also taken on the final day of the shoot, in spooky NightShot mode for your creepy viewing pleasure.

Live at Firlefanz

Windows Media | QuickTime

Yes, this is a performance of the song 'Babylon,' but no, this is not THE 'Babylon' video. This clip was taken on the eve of the first day of the actual music video shoot: I did a short solo-acoustic set as part of Firlefanz Gallery's "Shock and Awe: Some American Art" series. The kind words of introduction come courtesy Greg Haymes of the Times Union.
